Owner and head stylist, Chloe, called us because she needed a strong branding presence to represent her salon for their grand opening.
During our first conversation, Chloe explained to us her needs and her vision for a logo. She showed us a few other designs and brands that she liked as inspiration. With that info, we started creating.
Equipped with an outline of what Chloe liked and needed, we launched into the creative phase.
We started by creating 6 black and white mockups that translated her desires into reality.
She was certain that she liked the floral illustration style on the bottom left and also wanted to combine the font type and layout that she liked the best which was on the bottom right.
After 2 rounds of revisions, with a bit of developing and refining, we achieved the final logo with the circle in the center surrounded by the colorful tropical flowers.
Chloe loved the logo! And so do we. It’s one of our favorite designs to date, though we are pretty partial to all things Hawaiian.
The final version on the bottom was used to create a large wooden sign which directs customers to explore her shop which is on the second floor.
